The FAQ

Do you Travel?

Of course I do! Please book me Antartica! Its on my bucket list! lol

How long have you been doing this?

3.5 years!

How many photos do we get?

I give around 75-100 photos per hour. If its clear and presentable then I send. I know that's different than others... But what I might like is not necessarily what the client likes.

How do we get our photos?

I send in 3 ways. 1. Through this site (Pixieset) , Google Photos, Jump Drive.
Google Photos so you can always have an online backup and so you can select the photos you want to or possibly print. 3. Once you have selected those photos, I put the RAW version on a jump drive for you. RAW is the bigger files and will print much better.

Do you retouch photos?

I used to but not so much now.

If the photos needs to be lightened or is too bright then yes. I try to get my settings right on my computer so I won't have to do this..
There are also things like blemishes, wrinkles or any other things unappealing that I will also edit.

Whats your turn around time?

I try to get the photos back to you the next day. I am a full time photographer so I have no excuse to get you your images.

Weddings are different. That night I will send a recap of the wedding. Usually 50 photos. Then up to two weeks or sooner for the entirety.

Can you help us with planning?

Would love to help. That also allows me to get ahead and plan some shots out.

How far out do you book?

2 years.

What should we do for an engagement session?

Start a list of places that you both find special to one another. First place meeting, first kiss, etc. Then brainstorm on locations like field, beach, etc. Then call me! We can brainstorm then and create something beautiful. Also pick a day that you are not rushed and block the last two hours of the day for the shoot.

What should we wear?

This one can be debated. Some say reds pop, or white on the beach, but I always say where something that you will feel confident, comfortable, and colorful. In ten years the clothes will probably be out of style, but its the smiles and happiness captured that will last forever.

But if you are looking for more technical color matching the photos you want here is colors that might help

Warm Tones: If you have dark brown to dark blonde hair along with olive skin, you’re likely a warm tone. Colors that look good on you include oranges, reds, golds, magenta, and turquoise.

Cool Tones: You’re a cool tone if your hair is very dark black, very dark blonde, or very dark brown. (AKA, the darkest shades of each hair color.) You can be cool-toned regardless of your complexion; what matters is whether or not your skin has a blueish undertone. Colors that look good on you include lavender, royal blue, ruby, and emerald green.

Neutral Tones: If you have hazels eyes and hair that’s a combination of colors (naturally), you may be a neutral tone. Colors that look great on neutrals include light pink, and really any light color that’s not too stark and vibrant.
